***How old was the mother when giving birth?
How many litters she has had before?
I do not breed female before second heat, its about 18 months old or older. My girls have 1-4 litters in their life before being spayed. all depends on health, recovery time and quality of puppies. Most of my girls have 1-3 litters in their life. Most of my girls are spayed around 5 years old, as i strongly believe it is better for their health.
***Can I see health clearances for the puppy’s parents?
I do Embark DNA, OFA CHIC (Orthopedic Foundation of America) for most of my dogs. All information is public on original sites). I do not send these tests information via email. I can show you when you come to get a puppy. All my dogs are health checked and are healthy.
***Do you offer a health guarantee? What does it cover?
Although every effort is made to carefully select healthy and well-matched breeding pairs, certain traits inherent to small breeds cannot be guaranteed. Puppies sold on pet/non-breeding agreements are not warranted to possess show-quality characteristics such as a perfect bite, movement, or conformation.
***Have the puppies been vet-checked, vaccinated, and dewormed?
All my puppies are
- dewormed at age 4,6,8 weeks old.
- vaccinated at 2 months old (8-9 weeeks)
- vet checked, microchipped, poop test done the day of vaccination.
***How often do you breed your dogs?
Every dog is unique, and are bred accordingly to my repro vet advise.
***Where are the puppies raised?
All dogs and puppies live in my house as my pets. They socialised with our friends, family and my granddaughter. I whelp puppies in my bedroom and place mom and babies into nursery (separate quiet room) as soon puppies and mom are stable. young puppies have plenty of space to play, run and sleep.
***Can I meet the puppy’s parents or see photos/videos of them?
When you come to my house you can meet parents. all pictures of my dogs you can find on my web site, page "Our Dogs".
***Are the puppies CKC registered? Will I receive papers?
All my dogs and puppies are CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered.
Pet puppy buyers receive their registration papers after proof of spay/neuter is provided to the breeder (according to our agreement).
***Can you tell me about the puppy’s lineage or pedigree?
All information about pedigree and lineage is provided during the new puppy owner visit.
***Have the puppies started crate or potty training?
All my puppies start potty training at 3 weeks old. Despite of that they are still young when leave my home and cannot be considered as a fully trained dog. The new owner has to continue potty train their puppy. I am NOT keeping my dogs and puppies crated. they know playpen and crate if they need to be transported.
